End Of The World!!!!!!

Hello.  This is my last blog before the new year... 2012! Some say it will be the end of the world as we know it. Personally, I don't believe this to be true.  But, if it came to pass that the world actually ended in 2012, this would be what I want my last day to be like.

Wake up and have a all-you-can-eat, buffet style breakfast.  Then go for a nice walk with friends.  Maybe get together with some of them and have party together.  Then I would fly to Switzerland and do some snowboarding.  I would have to be flown there in a helicopter, because I want to try jumping out of helicopter and landing on my board.  That is one of my life goals. Then, if any of you have seen The Polar Express (which I highly recommend for those who haven't), I would work on hole punching words really fast on a ticket/piece of unneeded paper.  That is also on my bucket list.

Now, after this, I would estimate that it would be around 1:00pm.  So in the afternoon, I would learn how to fly a plane, and then fly around the world in the fastest plane known to mankind!

That is how I would want to spend my last day.  But like I said, I don't think the world will end, so i won't have to worry about it at all.

Well, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Years.  Until the new year...FFF

It's Outrageous!!!!

I love Christmas!!!!!  I am definitely a who over the grinch.  But I honestly hate what they are doing to the holiday.

I don't think we should have to change what we say just to please someone who doesn't say it.  Some people want "Merry Christmas" gone and that we should say "Happy Holidays" instead.  I do not like that idea at all.  I want to be able to say "Merry Christmas" without having to be worried that someone will take offense.  If someone celebrates something else, like Hanuka, then I respect that.  But in my mind, "Merry Christmas" is a term that applies to all types of celebrations.  It just sums up the holiday into two words.

I for one will keep saying "Merry Christmas".  It is what I grew up with and it is forever engraved in my mind.

But again I do love Christmas.

Until next time...FFF

Shift!!!!

So today we have to write about a odd news story.  I will be writing today about a funny news story.

So on December 2, two people were trying to carjack a car.  This happened in St. Petersburg, Florida.  The car they were trying to steal was a 2007 Nissan.  They apparently pulled a gun on the occupants inside, a 45 year-old male and his 23 year-old girlfriend, and told them to get out of the car or they would shoot. They also wanted money and a cell phone.  The couple got out of the car.

The two would-be carjackers didn't get far.  Turns out neither of them could drive stick.  So they gave up and ran away.  They still got a cell phone, but they did not get any money from the couple.

It turns out that the two suspects were more interested in the phone than in the car.  Apparently it was a smartphone, although it might not mean anything to the story.

If you would like to take a look for yourself, then here is where I found it:  http://rumors.automobilemag.com/would-be-carjackers-foiled-by-stick-shift-92247.html

As for me, I think this story is hilarious.  I can't drive stick but I would know whether or not a car was automatic or standard once I looked inside.  The two people who tried to take the car were not too bright, in my opinion.

Well that is all for this post.  Until next time... FFF
