How About Those Leafs!!!!!!!

So the Toronto Maple Leafs are off to an amazing start to the 2011/2012 season!!!  Their record is 5-2-1 and for the Leafs, considering the last few seasons, that record is fantastic.  They are first in their division with 11 points.

They started off the season with a win against their rival Montreal Canadians.  This was a big start to the season because, if I remember correctly, the Canadians were supposed to be a really hard team to beat this year.  This really gave the Leafs confidence.

They then went on to beat another rival of theirs, the Ottawa Senators.  The battle of Ontario was nerve-racking.  Toronto was up by four goals to starts the third period.  The Senators battled back by scoring 5 goals, but the Leafs scored two more to edge them by one goal.

They then went on to win 2 more games.  They lost in overtime against the Colorado Avalanche and they lost in regulation twice.

Then they played the Canadians again and beat them. 

Overall it has been an excellent start to the season!!  I just hope they can keep it up.

Let's Do The Timewarp... Again!!

So I had one of those big toy dump trucks when I was little.  It was so awesome! I actually had two and they were so much fun.  Me and my friends had so much fun with them.

My friends and me used to sit in the back and have races.  I remember hitting the wall a lot and my mom yelling at me a lot.  I argued that the dents made the wall look more authentic, but she didn't understand.  Actually they weren't so much dents as they were holes.

I had a plastic one and a metal one.  I was in the metal one so the wall really didn't stand a chance.  Neither did my brother.  His crying was so loud that i wanted to hit him again (hey I was 5) but I didn't.  It was quite tempting though.

I also remember when I fell asleep in the back of my plastic one.  I had just got it for my birthday and I was tired.  So I sat in the back and fell asleep.  My parents took a picture (sorry I don't have it for the blog) and it looked pretty funny.

I still have those dump trucks today. I don't fit in them anymore though...

Anyways that's a flashback to my childhood.  Until next time... FFF

NO RIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate it.  When you have spare last period on a friday, and no way to get home... it sucks. 

I have spare last period today and i don't have a vehicle.  It makes me sad.  I want to go home early because I need to pack for this weekend.

I am going to a convention this weekend called Acquire The Fire.  It always used to be in Hamilton but this year it is in Toronto.  It starts tonight and then ends tomorrow night.  It is actually so much fun.

On friday night they have part of a drama.  The people in it are pretty awesome.  Then they have a speaker who speaks to everyone about something.

On saturday they have three more sessions.  Right before dinner, there is a concert.  It is pretty awesome. 

But anyways, that is tonight and I am leaving for it at about 4... so I need to pack!  My bus gets to my bus stop at around 3:20 and since we are meeting at my church at 3:45 to get ready to leave, it really doesn't give me much time to get ready.  I wish i could have drove a vehicle to school today but I couldn't get one because my mom needed the van. 

Oh well.  Thats my rant.  Looks as though I'll be taking the bus home...
